A powerful fighter with a nasty reputation, Zeru is the apparent leader of Team Rokoyukai. Zeru has the ability to control fire and incorporate it into various dangerous attacks. Hiei respects Zeru's abilities to such a level that he is compelled to attempt his own most dangerous technique in order to defeat the fire controlling demon.

Ura Urashima is a small demon that uses a fishing pole as a weapon. Whoever breathes the mist transforms back to a younger age. Despite appearances, Ura Urashima is a capable fighter who isn’t afraid to break any rule in the book.

Character Description
Onji first appears as an old man who looks past his prime as a fighter. He reveals that he personally assembled Team Uraotogi and taught them special techniques that he could exploit on the way to the semi-finals and beyond. But when the wise Genkai discovers Onji's deception, his true form in revealed. The Beautiful Suzuka, as he demands to be addressed is a master of disguise and trickery. He loves life in the spotlight and plans on using the fame and power from winning the Dark Tournament to rule the world.

Kuro Momotaro's body has the amazing ability to memorize any attack made against it causing him to be nearly indestructible. He also carries strange orbs called Steaming Spheres. When he breaks one of the spheres his body becomes covered in armor. And with a plethora of spheres at his side, Kuro Momotaro is sure to only become tougher and tougher.

A member of the Uraotogi Team, much of Shishi Wakamaru's power is generated from his mystical sword, the Banshee Shriek, which has the ability to summon lost souls. This diabolical demon planned on sacrificing some members of his team in the hopes that they would soften Team Urameshi up before he ever stepped foot in the ring.

Kaitou would be the top student in his class if it weren't for Kurama. This competition fuels Kaitou's rage and hatred of Kurama. Kaitou has the power of Taboo. He can designate any word as taboo. If someone utters the taboo word or sound, their soul becomes his property.

Fresh off his victory at the Dark Tournament, Yusuke is challenged by Kido, who appears to be a normal human. But little does Yusuke know that Kido has the power of Shadow. He can render a person unable to move by stepping on their shadow. He can also manipulate his own shadow to do his bidding.

Mitsunari enjoys teasing Kuwabara, but prefers to let his actions speak for him. He can make himself into an exact physical copy of someone just by touching them. He gains their physical features, memories, and abilities. To make him transform back to his regular form, he must be injured in some way.

Seiryu, Suzaku, Byakko=Character Description
Sometimes called 'The Stone Beast', and one of the Four Saint Beasts of Maze Castle, Genbu is a fearsome sight to behold. His deformed body is almost animal-like in appearance – except for the fact that it is composed entirely of stone. Genbu can fuse his body with any type of rock. As such, he often travels throughout Maze Castle by "melting" into the solid stone walls. He can use this ability to reach beyond the confines of the castle, in order to deliver messages to demon subordinates on the outside. It also gives him a decided advantage when confronting intruders within his walls.
Suzaku=Teammates
Seiryu, Genbu, Byakko=Character Description
The leader of the 4 saint beasts, Suzaku looks most human of them all. He can create Cultivated Humans; beings with no thoughts of their own or free will and are absolutely obedient to their creator. Suzaku can also create duplicates of himself giving him a decided edge in battle.

Suzaku, Genbu, Byakko=Character Description
The third of the Four Saint Beasts, Seiryu, the Blue Dragon, stands nearly twelve feet tall and possesses the incredible speed to match his incredible height. His powers enable him to lower the temperature of the air surrounding his body to well below the freezing point, thus giving him a vast arsenal of powerful ice attacks, including his signature technique, the Ice Dragon.

Doctor=Character Description
As a result of his new powers, the Doctor has begun to slowly become insane. He can create bugs that inject viruses into victims. The victims will die if the Doctor is not destroyed or knocked out within 10 minutes. He can use his body with more cutting precision than a scalpel. He has also lost the sensation of pain allowing him to reattach his body parts with ease.
Gamemaster=Character Description
At only 11 years of age, Gamemaster does not appear to be a terrible threat. However, he can make any video game into reality. Any person in his territory must play by game rules, or they will be destroyed.
Gouki=Character Description
A dangerous criminal from the Spirit World with over a dozen convictions to his name, Gouki has escaped his prison and is on the loose in the human world. Yusuke is given the assignment of apprehending the villain, but he'd better be careful! Gouki is incredibly strong, and has used his strength to kill more than ten pursuers already! When backed into a corner, Gouki reveals his true form by transforming into Kyuukonki.
Gourmet=Character Description
The grim Gourmet has a most disgusting ability. He is able to gain a person's powers by eating them. Fearless, Gourmet will go after any prospective victim. The more powerful the victim, the more power Gourmet attains.
Hirue=Character Description
Hirue is a demon who acts as a security guard on Tarukane's property. He has orders to destroy anyone trying to break in and rescue the ice apparition, Yukina. When Hirue transforms into his most powerful form, Yusuke and the gang must pull out all the stops in order to get past the hulking monster.
Itsuki=Character Description
Itsuki was nearly killed by Sensui, but was spared at the last minute and became the madman's partner. He was with Sensui on the fateful day the Black Club met vengeance at the hand of the Spirit Detective. He is a shadow demon that can trap people in different dimensions, and the gatekeeper guarding the inner most depths of Demon World.
Sniper=Character Description
Sniper can concentrate his energy into the body of anyone else. He can then attract projectiles to his energy, piercing the victim. He is also an expert motorcyclist.
Kazamaru=Character Description
One of the semi-finalists in the Genkai Tournament, Kazamaru is well trained in the Nijitsu art of stealth. His considerable fighting skills put him in high demand among government officials as a top professional bodyguard. Kazamaru is able to channel his Spirit Energy through the palm of his hand, emitting a powerful blast similar to Yusuke's Spirit Gun - but far more potent.
Kibano=Character Description
Kibano is a man of few words, preferring to let his arsenal of martial arts attacks do his talking for him. Among his more devastating moves is the Big Arm Bomber, an attack which uses concentrated Spirit Energy to amplify the power of his already explosive punches. Kibano sometimes makes use of a special helmet that enhances his Spirit Awareness and allows him to sense, rather than see, the movements of his opponents
Makintaro=Character Description
The largest member of Team Uraotogi, Makintaro is strong enough to crush most opponents. But his dependence on size and strength only serve to enhance his flaws. Makintaro can mutate his arm into an axe-like weapon called the Axe Blade Fist. It is sure to be lights out for anyone caught in its destructive path!
Shorin=Character Description
A mild-mannered but powerful young fighter, Shorin enters Genkai's Tournament in hopes of becoming the aging master's pupil. But this quiet young man is not what he seems. Shorin is in fact none other than the monster Rando in disguise! Rando is a terrible creature who has eliminated 99 fighting masters and stolen their special techniques. He now needs only to steal Genkai's power of Reidoha (the Spirit Wave) and he will become virtually invincible.
Sensui=Character Description
Once a powerful defender of humans and a former Spirit Detective, Shinobu Sensui happened upon the Black Black Club at their worst. He was so revolted at the inhumanity displayed by these criminals that he destroyed everyone in the room eventually going insane and taking on seven different personalities. He took up Sakyo's plan to open the gateway between Demon World and Living World deciding he should be the one to exterminate humanity.
Seaman=Character Description
A lost soul and loner by nature, he never really fit in anywhere, but he finally found the support he needed from Sensui. Seaman can create an indestructible monster of water from a single drop of blood. The more blood, the larger the monsters. Each monster exists in their own separate universe and cannot be destroyed by normal means.
Murota=Character Description
Murota has the power to read minds. He desires to use this gift to become a boxer. In doing so he could anticipate his opponent's thoughts allowing him to easily win the match. But Murota's power is at times a painful burden as the thoughts of dozens of people around him can flood his mind at once.
